We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced,&amp;nbsp;qualified Building Control professional&amp;nbsp;to join our supportive, modern, customer focused team, to ensure buildings are compliant and residents and visitors of the Borough for safe.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You’ll&amp;nbsp;join our proactive customer focused Building Control team which has been involved in some exciting developments recently&amp;nbsp;and also&amp;nbsp;has&amp;nbsp;a number of&amp;nbsp;exciting projects to get involved with, including housing developments and commercial projects across the borough.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will experience plenty of variety as you manage and progress a broad range of building control projects to effective completion. In addition, you will help to grow our business by&amp;nbsp;establishing&amp;nbsp;and strengthening working relationships with architects, developers as well as other existing or potential clients.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About you:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We are looking for a team member&amp;nbsp;who&amp;nbsp;has a degree in Building Surveying or equivalent construction discipline and has corporate full membership of either MRICS, MCABE or MCIOB and&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;must&lt;/em&gt; be registered at either Class 2 or 3 with the Building Safety Regulator. You must be self-motivated, be able to work on own initiative and have broad experience in Building Control legislation and enforcement processes. You must have proven excellent verbal and written communication skills.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As we prepare our councils for Local Government Reorganisation, we are seeking a full time People Business Partner (fixed term until 31 March 2028) to support a number of Directorates across both organisations, providing day to day advice, guidance and casework support. Experience in managing complex employee relations matters is essential, including disciplinaries, grievances, organisational change and TUPE (due to the generalist nature of the role, this list is not exhaustive!). There will also be opportunities to assist with the transformation and change in respect of LGR.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We operate a hybrid working model, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week in the office across both councils. We take a flexible approach to this, balancing the needs of the role and the service.&lt;/p&gt;
