Our Culture and Values

We like our staff to be proactive and innovative. Being customer focused and willing to maximise your potential at work are expected. We all work together to achieve the very best for our residents which sometimes means getting involved in projects and trying new tasks outside of your day-to-day job role. We love our staff to suggest new ideas and to have enthusiasm to try out new experiences.

The job Role

This is an exciting opportunity to supply a professional chauffeuring service to the Chairman and other VIPs and dignitaries and provide general assistance during Civic events. You will drive the Chairman of the Council to a range of Civic engagements and will be on hand to assist and take photographs at events, as required. This will primarily be within the local areas of Rochford, Southend and Castle Point and further afield within Essex and, on occasions, London.

About You

You should be an experienced driver with a full, clean driving licence.  Whilst previous chauffeuring experience would be beneficial, full training will be given. We are looking for positive, hardworking and reliable individuals who are willing to help wherever needed. The role can involve long and unsociable hours, so the successful candidate must be flexible about their working pattern and willing to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends, sometimes at short notice.

For an informal chat please call Sonia Worthington on 01702 318141.
