The job role

We are seeking a motivated candidate to work closely with, and assist the Procurement, Legal and Information Teams on related tasks and projects. These teams whilst small, are key central departments of the Council, working with virtually all departments, we deal with a large variety of projects, including the creation and awarding of Contracts, receipt and co-ordination of FOI requests and the management of legal cases. No two days are ever the same!

Excellent organisational skills, good I.T skills, good verbal and written communication skills are essential requirements for this role.

The post holder will be responsible for a number of duties including provision of clerical and administrative tasks in aspects of the Procurement, Legal and Information sections, to assist in maintaining the Council’s land and property records.

Maintenance of other databases including those relating to Freedom of Information and Case Management Systems,

The post holder must also be committed to completing an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration.
