Our culture and values

We like our staff to be proactive and innovative. Being customer focused and willing to maximise your potential at work are expected. We all work together to achieve the very best for our residents which sometimes means getting involved in projects and trying new tasks outside of your day-to-day job role. We love our staff to suggest new ideas and to have enthusiasm to try out new experiences.

The job role

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated team player to join our small, busy Electoral Services team. In the job role you will be required to demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of electoral registration, elections and referenda. You must be able to work well under pressure, have a keen attention to detail and be able to work with a high level of accuracy. Good communication and IT skills are essential. You will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills within a regulatory framework, taking a key role in increasing operational performance and developing and delivering practical interventions to maintain service delivery, in line with statutory requirements. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and work with a high degree of accuracy.

The salary will reflect your experience and understanding of electoral services and provide a stepping stone for future development.
