The job role

This post is a casual role within the Leisure & Cultural Services Team providing an essential service to the overall authority and will be based at The Mill Arts & Events Centre, Bellingham Lane, Rayleigh.

The role would support evening and weekend bookings at the Mill Arts & Events Centre, and potentially some weekday bookings. Bookings held at the Mill Arts & Events Centre can be varied, ranging from live concerts and performances, disco and party events, private parties, and craft fairs.

Duties will include setting up and packing down of the furniture for the event, including setting out the required chairs and tables, setting up and packing down of the stage, greeting guests and performers, cloakroom management, audience management including ticketing attendees, cleaning duties throughout the booking, and any other duties required.

The Leisure & Cultural Services Team would provide full training and send full details of each booking ahead of the day. In addition, a manager will always be on site throughout the booking.
