Following the successful migration to Cloud services the Council has widen its digital landscape by continuing to invest in modern digital platforms and the position of an IT Applications Analyst has become available.  

The IT Applications Analyst will be working with IT Operations and Support Teams to deliver high quality technical services. This post will see you as the main point of contact and be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of Business Applications including backups, database management, interface config, upgrades and monitoring and ongoing system developments. Knowledge of IDOX Uniform would be advantageous. 

Working in the Council’s IT Team you will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies, challenges, and opportunities to upskill. Working in a continuous improvement model - You will be part of motivated and forward-thinking technology team and get the opportunity to contribute to the effective delivery of the Council’s Digital Strategies, improve the Customer and Employee experience, and ensure that critical systems are highly available.  

Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies and ITIL would be advantageous. 

As the Council continues with the transformation agenda, this job role will continue to evolve to fit into the new working practices of the organisation.
