Dept: Housing Options

Full Time - 37 hours per week  

Salary: Scale 5, SCP12 - SCP17 - £28,598 - £31,022 

(Starting salary dependent upon skills and qualifications, progression subject to satisfactory performance) 

Basic DBS required  

Hybrid: (Minimum 3 days office based) at Rochford offices - Launchpad, Airport Business Park, Rochford

About the role:  

We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated person to join our Allocations service.  In this role, you will deliver an excellent customer-focused service, supporting the team.  Responsibilities will include managing housing register applications, liaising with internal departments and external agencies, providing accurate data inputting and reporting. This is a varied and rewarding role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.  

About you: 

You will need to demonstrate the following:  

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deliver a professional and empathic approach to both internal and external customers.  

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience in managing data input, maintaining accurate records and handling complex cases.  

Experience with databases, word, and excel.
