The job role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work within a small Local Authority within an exciting, varied and busy role, working closely with and assisting officers within the People & Communities Directorate. This directorate includes Housing, Private Housing, Environmental Health, Licensing, Community Safety, Safeguarding and Health and Wellbeing, including Public Health.

We are seeking a motivated and well organised applicant who is adaptable and who can work on tasks independently and who is willing to travel within the district when required.

The role incudes providing support for event planning, administering, delivery and evaluation. Respond to general enquiries from the public and partners via telephone, email, written correspondence and direct and liaising with other departments regarding reprographics, public relations and room bookings.

The post holder must also be committed to completing a Level 2 in Business Administration Apprenticeship.
