The job role

We are a small District Council in South East Essex with good public transport links. This is an exciting time to join the Council as we are looking to rationalise our accommodation for the future with an emphasis on mobile and flexible working. 

There is an opportunity to join our busy Housing Options team in this key administrative role to assist the team in delivering excellent housing services to meet the needs of our clients. The successful applicant would take on a role responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support  to the Housing Options Team.

 

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working on their own but can also work effectively with in the team which is a key part to this role. You must have a robust working knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Outlook, Excel including spreadsheets and budget control. The successful applicant will have excellent verbal communications skills both on the telephone and face to face.

Experience in working in a busy frontline customer focused environment.
